Training
BIG etc Productions Training
Today, there are a great number of film courses available to young people, however, these are mostly aimed at the dramatic and theatrical arts. The medium of film is not only an essential tool for communication in the 21st Century, but also a great mechanism for learning to look at our work and world through a new, more questioning perspective.
We are looking forward to the completion of the traditional timber-cob construction Linhay Centre at Embercombe in South Devon. The Linhay Centre is two related buildings facing each other, providing both wet & dry hire edit suites, workshops, classrooms and refectory/performance space.

Construction began in March 2012 and is due for completion in October 2013. The buildings will make use of the latest 'Green' technologies in solar and locally sourced wood-chip heating.
Although many of the courses at Embercombe revolve around farming and traditional craftsmanship, Embercombe is keen to see an engagement between the traditional skills and modern technology through the provision of a fully functional production studios under the guidance of BIGetc Productions
